New York Times bestselling author Captain Luis Carlos Montalván and his service dog, Tuesday, come to E.P. Foster Library to discuss the
“war after the war,” the human-animal bond, and their inspirational story of healing and hope.
An Iraq War veteran, Captain Montalván is the award winning author of Until Tuesday: A Wounded Warrior and the Golden Retriever Who Saved Him.
The story recounts his experiences with physical and psychological wounds
including severe post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and how he readjusted his life with help from a golden retriever named Tuesday.
