  • Wise Owls Book Club 2024

    Hill Road Library Wise Owls Book Club Tuesday, November 19, 5 to 6 pm 
    Fall Selection: Wings Of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy by Tui Sutherland. Clay and his friends have grown up under a mountain, secretly raised by the Talons of Peace to fulfill a mysterious prophecy. But not every dragonet wants a destiny. Maybe they can break free and end the war at the same time.

  • Friends of the Library Book Group

    Are you interested in a different kind of book group where you get to choose what books you want to read?   The FOL 4th Thursday Book Group meets at 2 PM via Zoom.  We have members who love mysteries, historical fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels, local writers, etc.  We each talk about our favorites read that month.  Sometimes we exchange books.  Contact Kappy Paulson at 805-795-1601 and leave a message or email kmpgen@sbcglobal.net.
