It’s time again to express your creative side with traditional Japanese haiku. The annual Haiku Poetry Contest begins April 1. Submit your single best haiku between April 1 and 5pm April 30. You may enter online or at any branch of the Ventura County Library.
Take this opportunity to express yourself through this beautiful and simple Japanese art form. Follow tradition and compose a haiku about nature or choose a subject that inspires you. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
