Pi Day Celebration

Hill Road Library Saturday, March 14, noon to 1:30 pm

Pi Day – for the love of math…and pie. The Greek letter “π” is the symbol for pi (the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter). Pi Day is an annual celebration of math and learning, and it also happens to be Einstein’s birthday, so come celebrate with us!

We will be making pi day bracelets, printing π symbol cookie cutters on our 3D printer, and other fun Pi Day activities. Children ages 6-16 can complete our Pi Day challenge to win a certificate for a Pizza Man Dan’s personal pizza pie.
