Life is a struggle at times. Everyone has to manage difficult thoughts, emotions, and stressors. Sometimes we get so caught up in our difficulties that they consume our life. Life can also be magnificent.

This workshop, presented by California Lutheran University Community Counseling Services, teaches its participants the practice of mindfulness.  This workshop discusses a variety of tools such as meditation, grounding techniques, and body scans, which allow one to become fully present and use a nonjudgmental outlook on life. Through engaging activities we hope to encourage participants to foster a new approach to their struggles through insight and self-compassion.
